UCSB PRV0 Information
This page contains information concerning the testing of the semileptonic/radiative penguin channels requested for PRV0.

The Channels:
Tools, methods, etc..
- We used Aslund in release 7.10.2 on OSF (at UCSB)
- The code:
- The event dumps include the first 10 events. The first table lists all the (Aslund) reconstructed tracks, and includes the following quantites for any given track: charge*momentum magnitude, transverse momentum, phi, theta, z0, d0, chi squared, number of degrees of freedom, number of DCH hits, number of SVT hits, and SVT and DCH maps (the latter 6 quantities don't mean much for Aslund tracks, of course). The second table lists StdHep tracks (or MC truth tracks if the StdHep tracks are not found), and includes the following fields: track number, track StdHep ID, name, first and last daughters, first and second mothers, the three momentum components, mass, momentum magnitude, transverse momentum, phi, theta, and the three vertex components. The dumps also include a table of Geant tracks which can be ignored in this case.
- The event displays show a typical event obtained with the generic GraDisplayApp application running off the corresponding .xdr file (generated with stand-alone bbsim in 7.10.2).
- The histrograms include the following:
- MC truth momentum spectra for all charged and neutral tracks, as well as lepton momentum spectrum for semileptonic decays or gamma energy (in lab and CM) for radiative penguin decays.
- MC truth cos(Theta) distributions in lab and CM for all charged and neutral tracks
- MC truth cos(Phi) distributions in lab and CM for all charged and neutral tracks
- MC truth Q2 vs. El CM distribution, where Q2 = (pl + pneutrino)2, and El CM is the lepton energy in CM (semileptonic decays only)
- MC truth number of charged tracks per event, number of neutrals per event, total event charge
- MC truth deltaZ for the two B vertices
- Aslund momentum spectrum, lepton momentum spectrum for semileptonic decays, lab cos(Theta) and phi distrubutions, for charged tracks. Note that only tracks with pt > 50 MeV are considered.
- Aslund number of charged tracks per event, number of neutrals per event, total event charge (all charged tracks are considered for this one, of course!)
- Aslund momentum spectra, lab cos(Theta) and phi distrubutions, for neutrals Note that only neutrals with E > 30 MeV are considered.
- MC truth histogram with 3 bins, where the first bin (from 0 to 1) gives one the number of B0 B0bar pairs per event, the second, the number of B0 B0 pairs, and the third, the number of B0bar B0bar pairs.
