BgsSvtSim: status at a glance

• People involved:

  • Fabrizio Bianchi, Natalia Kuznetsova, Bill Lockman

• What has been done:

  • found a method to obtain the geometry information from the SVT conditions database in Bogus environment.
  • completed a “fast simulation” model with simplified geometry (wafers only).
  • started working on the full model.

• Major problems encountered:

  • currently, the “fast model” requires a long time to close the geometry; this may be a Geant4 problem.
