• SVT occupancies

• Bogus validation

  :
  • I used release 6.10.12 for bbsim (SVT reconstruction + Kalman fitter), and 7.5.1 for Bogus. In both cases I've looked at 1,000 events with single 1GeV muons.
  
  
  
  • These plots show track parameter residuals for both bbsim and Bogus reconstructed tracks. One can see that the agreement is quite good.
  
  
  
  • Problems with Aslund:
    • I have succeeded in running Aslund on OSF (UCSB machines) in 6.10.5. Unfortunately, I could not look at the track parameter residuals for Aslund tracks because of absense of MC truth information on their vertices.
  
  
  
  • The instrinsic resolutions in the fast SVT simulation are being parametrized in terms of cluster width. I've made some comparisons with the information in the TDR. This plot shows the Z intrinsic resolution as a function of incident angle. It is roughly consistent with a similar plot in the TDR (p. 107).
